This artwork was made a day before Raya 2021. I was reflecting, thinking of how lucky I am compared to most people during this pandemic. And even though I don’t like raya as much, this is a tribute for those who do, for those who’ve missed balik kampung for more than a year due to the pandemic. This is for those who’ve remained hopeful despite the dire situation we’re in.
